Despite a valiant on field effort from Sunjay, it’s Sunjay’s efforts off the field that this club can’t do without. As Registrar in 2015, 2016, 2017 and now 2019, Sunjay has been integral in Fee Collection and Player Registration through out these years.
Even on days & nights where he wasn’t playing or training through injury or opposition forfeits, Sunjay would still be there asking for fees.
Congratulations on 100 games Sunjay.
A player who normally gets in close and does tyhe hard stuff instead of getting photographed, Brian Walker has bought up his 100 games against Hills Rugby Club after a work interrupted Rugby career.

With two caps on the weekend (starting 4th and 3rd Grade), Brad Chalmers has bought up his double century for Hunters Hill Rugby.
Brad’s rugby has been much interupted in the last few years due to work, which has made this achievement harder.
Brad has also scored 493 competition points in these games.
Jake’s First Grade cap last weekend against Epiing was his 100th game for Hunters Hill Seniors.
The vast majority of his 100 caps have been in First Grade, after a long career with the Juniors (including coaching these last few years). Jake also became a Committee Member this year, putting into the club both on and off the field.
After a disrupted season, Tim Gatehouse started two games last weekend against Epping to play games #99 and #100 for Hunters Hill Rugby.
We wish Tim all the best for the rest of the year.
Last weekend against St Pats Rugby, Jason Gaff achieved his official double century, leading 4th Grade in a narrow loss.
With several count backs from the mid-2000’s pending, we may well find out this should have been weeks ago.
Congrats to Gaffy on this achievement, and we look forward to him playing on for a fair few more years.
While we celebrate Back to Boronia Day against Forest Rugby Club, Chuck Housego is going to be running out for his 100th game for the Seniors Club at Hunters HIll Rugby.
This is after a long and successful career in the juniors as well.

It is with a heavy heart that HHRUFC advises of the passing of Club Legend Allan Southcombe.
Southy took on many roles at the club, and was always ready to step in to help when needed or when things got tough.
Allan’s playing career spanned from 1961 to 1988, starting in the U10’s and involved multiple premierships as a player, a captain coach and a coach. During this time Allan also received the honours of Clubman of the Year and Club Best and Fairest, as well as his Honour Cap and Life Membership.
Off the field, Allan has been Seniors President (1986-89, 2004), Vice President (1985), Club Treasurer (2009-2012) and Seniors Treasurer (1978-80, 2018), Club Coach, Director of Coaching, First Grade Coach as well as coaching various other grades
Allan’s contribution cannot be measured in stat’s alone, and he will be sorely missed by the whole club.
With a delay worthy of the AEC it brings us great pleasure to announce that on a historic night in March, Hunters Hill Rugby has elected two Club Captains for the first time.
Ben Chaplin returns as the Senior Men’s Club Captain for 2019, continuing on from this role in 2018 and his 2017 Vice-Chairmanship. Ben’s role this year means that he will have help an executive position at Hunters Hill Rugby, for half his playing career, not bad for a bloke that joined as a colt.
Bella Hogan has been elected as inaugural Senior Women’s Club Captain. Bella is a founding member of Hunters Hill Women’s Rugby Union Football Club, and is also a 2019 committee member.

Hunters Hill Rugby Union Football Club (HHRUFC) is seeking interest from Coaches and Team Managers for the 2019 season.
We are seeking experienced rugby coaches who want to grow and gain experience. Working under Club Coaching Director Mark Philp (Level 4 & International experienced Coach) coaching staff will be provided with full support to extend their learning and development (through practical experience and certification), as well as top class facilities/equipment and Canterbury Teamwear kit!
In 2019 - the Club is looking to field five (5) Open Age Grade sides, two (2) Under 21 Colts sides and two (2) Women’s Sevens side. The club is also looking to appoint an S&C Coach for the seaon.
The club is looking for passionate individuals across ALL GRADES who are willing to contribute to the development of players both on and off the field, and be part of Sydney’s best rugby club.

Following a successful season which saw Hunters Hill Colts go down in the Grand Final after finishing fourth in the regular round, Colts Captain Ben Rooney took home the 2018 Colts Medal, awarded from amongst all the colts teams in all divisions of Subbies.

In 2017 we saw the power that a few players recruiting their mates could make to the club, with the GF success of 3's and the strong showing from all other grades due to this. There's actually too many players to name.
So in 2018, the Senior Men's Sub-Committee would like to reward those who put in the effort to get their mates along to play with Hillies with a $150 Bayview Voucher.
All you need to do is:
Bring two new players to the club who pay their full fees by Round 4.
& Pay your own full fees by Round 4.
